WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THERAPY?
A therapeutic experience is about helping individuals manage their emotions and remove energy blocks due to abuse, neglect, trauma, relationship issues, grief and loss, among other challenges. I use the Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) approaches coupled with Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) exposure therapy techniques to treat emotional pain and distress associated with negative thoughts, feelings, and emotions by using positive affirmations and tapping interventions.
WHAT IS ENERGY HEALING?
Our energetic bodies are connected with our physical bodies. All the traumas we carry physically, emotionally and psychologically impact the way our energy systems (chakras) function and vice versa. To maintain vibrant health, the body needs energetic space to flow freely throughout the body. When energies become stuck or are not flowing properly because of traumas, toxins, prolonged stress and muscular constrictions, it creates disturbances in the energy flow in our bodies, which over time contributes to mental, emotional issues and/or ailments and physical disease. The goal of energy healing is to restore the balance of energy to support physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
HOW TO FOCUS ON SOLUTIONS?
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is a strength-based approach that is centered on solution-building rather than problem-solving. YOU are the creator of your life, and you create your own reality. The interventions help you focus on what is working well in your life and how things will look when you are feeling better. Shifting your perspectives while focusing on your strengths, resources, and desires is essential to exploring possible solutions. The key idea behind Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is that your thoughts patterns affect your emotions, which can consequently affect your behaviors. By reframing your thoughts in a more positive way, it can lead to more positive feelings and helpful behaviors. The goal is to help you identify specific problems or issues in your daily life, becoming aware of unproductive thought patterns and how they can impact your life, and learning new behaviors and putting them into practice.
HOW TO LIBERATE FEELINGS?
Once we determine the negative emotions impacting your life, we identify what is preventing you from evolving and healing using Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). EFT is the emotional version of acupuncture except needles are not used; emotional issues are addressed. Holding on to negative emotions are linked to physical ailments. When you hold on to these negative emotions too long, they can develop into diseases. To help you clear emotional issues to produce physical healing, EFT is used to produce physical and emotional well-being.
CAN I LEARN TO HELP HEAL MYSELF?
Yes, if energy is not flowing freely in your body, energy flow becomes blocked or stuck. When energy does not flow well, the body's health does not do well. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is demonstrated by gently tapping on acupressure points and is very easy to learn. The process involves you simply holding the thoughts, feelings, and body sensations associated with the problem in mind while tapping on calming points on the upper body. The goal is to show you the tapping points and easily conduct tapping techniques on yourself, anytime.
